As the Erasmus+ project “Transnational Migrant Counseling for Decent Work” (TRAM4DW) continues its activities, I am pleased to introduce myself within this framework as a
participant and trainee at the Bulgarian Red Cross.
My name is Karina Shtepa. I am originally from Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine, and I have been living in Bulgaria for four years.
I am currently a second-year student at Sofia University, specializing in International Relations. My academic interests include international cooperation, migration processes,
intercultural communication and contemporary social challenges.
I decided to take part in this project and start an internship at the Bulgarian Red Cross in order to gain practical experience in the field of mobile citizenship, migration and
humanitarian support, and to better understand how international organizations address issues related to mobility, integration and decent work.
As a student of International Relations, I am particularly interested in migration, social integration and international cooperation. This experience allows me to connect my
academic studies with practical work in an international environment while developing my analytical and communication skills.
For me, participation in TRAM4DW represents an important step in my personal and professional development and contributes to a deeper understanding of contemporary
migration-related challenges and the role of humanitarian and international cooperation in addressing them.
