The European project Transnational Migrant Counselling for Decent Work (TRAM4DW) is pleased to announce the opening of a call for one Trainee Position as Transnational Labour Counsellor in Madrid.

Funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ Programme, TRAM4DW is implemented in Spain by the Complutense University of Madrid and ACCESOphia, under the coordination of the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW Hamburg).

This traineeship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in transnational labour orientation and migrant counselling while contributing to fair mobility and the promotion of decent work across Europe.

About the Project

Across Europe, sectors such as construction, agriculture, and care services are facing significant shortages of qualified workers. At the same time, mobile workers often encounter barriers to fair working conditions and adequate labour information.

TRAM4DW addresses these challenges by strengthening preventive counselling capacities and promoting the right to decent work for mobile workers within the European Union.

The project is implemented by a partnership of nine organisations — including universities, a research centre, and NGOs — from five countries: Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Bulgaria, and Ukraine.

The selected trainee will:

  • Receive specialised training in transnational labour orientation (with Certificate of Participation)
